The New
Kingdom-Centric View

The Shift. The Shaking. The Separation.

What is Kingdom-Centric View? This is a lens for interpreting events that is diametrically opposed to the lawless, humanist perspective, while being intentionally different from the nationalist outlook of conservative evangelicalism. It is not anti-establishment, though critical of the status quo. It is not patriotic, though cares deeply for America. It is not political, though understands the times. It is not religious, though rigorously contends for the true faith that is through Jesus Christ. Kingdom-Centric View is an observation of current affairs, and matters of import to the Body of Christ, that informs itself by the written and prophetic word of God, and develops its vantage point from an orientation of the kingdom of God, as a powerfully present and ever expanding reality.

In 2008, I received a very dramatic word from the Lord about a cataclysmic disruption of the Romanism that has shaped the church and America. This massive disturbance is being produced by a foundational shift, violent shaking, and ideological separation among the peoples of this nation. These are the chastisers of American peace, sent to drastically alter the existing social, political, economic, and religious systems and structures.  All things “America” are being forced through a crucible of change.

The Shift. The shift became most evident during President Obama’s first inauguration.  On January 3, 2009, with presidential powers, and by heaven’s authority, he declared, “…America is not a Christian nation…” His was a prophetic voice calling out from a “Platform of Change.” Also, he served as a historical marker between two eras: the Protestant Reformation and the Reformation of the Church.  The president soon enacted laws and promoted cultural changes, which testified that the relational cords between a lawless nation and a rebellious church were, indeed, cut. The broken church and state alliance freed the pure Church and reset its course to come into full, apostolic maturity. The shift repositioned the nation and church as overt hostiles, as the nu church rising up owes allegiance only to Christ; and so is obliged to defend the public honor of God, Biblical authority, righteousness and justice. This is a whole new stage.

The Shaking.  The shaking affects spiritual, natural and human forces and uses them to produce wide spread dis-ease, destabilization, and dismantlement of American way of life. This regime of change will come in steady cycles of catastrophic events as a chilling “controlled chaos.” The reason is found in early American history, at which time Christians forged a politico-church partnership in the co-signature of a revolution against England for independence, while transgressing God’s covenants. The church and nation were foundationally flawed by the union, requiring reconstruction. The Civil War was the beginning of this shaking; but the lessons went unlearned and the sins unrepentant. The shaking is now revved up, this time demanding a response of real humility from the church of Jesus Christ and the nation of America.

The Separation. Hebrews 12:26b-28, “Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven…’Yet once more’ indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain…Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.” The shift and shaking are God’s agents of change to force separation of the holy nation and the world, until the Kingdom of God is acknowledged as supreme in all the earth. “For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea” (Habakkuk 2:14, NKJV).
